NA Author: Stephanie Lawton

Julianne counts the days until she can pack her bags and leave her old-money, tradition-bound Southern town where appearance is everything and secrecy is a way of life. A piano virtuoso, she dreams of attending a prestigious music school in Boston. Failure is not an option, so she enlists the help of New England Conservatory graduate Isaac Laroche to help her. She can’t understand why he suddenly gave up Boston’s music scene to return to the South. He doesn’t know her life depends on escaping it. Julianne must face down madness from without, just as it threatens from within. Isaac must resist an inappropriate attraction, but an indiscretion at a Mardi Gras ball-the pinnacle event for Mobile’s elite-forces their present wants and needs to collide with sins of the past.
Will Julianne accept the help she’s offered and get everything she ever wanted, or will she self-destruct and take Isaac down with her?

Always a misfit, Stephanie Lawton writes twisted romance that tugs the heart strings then punches you in the gut.
She has a tendency to psychoanalyze people, which comes in handy when creating character profiles. She has a fascination with teacher-student relationships, bullies, psychics, doomsday preppers and larger-than-life characters.
Making readers squirm is her greatest pleasure.
Proceed with caution.

jaded hearts.
Meet the Author Melissa Collins 2I’ve always been an avid reader. Majoring in English Literature was a no brainer. Becoming a teacher and instilling my love for reading into my students was also a no brainer. I’ve spent the last ten years teaching and I’ve loved (mostly) every minute of it. When I was home on maternity leave for my third son, I discovered a new genre that sparked my creativity. My passion for writing sprang from my love of reading and once I knew I had a story to tell, I couldn’t wait to get it out there. I only hope that my readers enjoy reading my story as much as I enjoyed writing it. Excerpt

Natural Harmony Cover Reveal!!

It's here, it's here! My sweet, pretty, baby is here! So much hard work went into this cover. I have to thank four people for making it possible. First, my cousin & friend Elizabeth Hinds for giving me a remedial photography class (I majored in Photo for two years before ditching college for beauty school) so I could play photographer and director for this one while she kept her feet up for Baby Girl Hinds! Next, my two LOVELY models, Jeremiah Shoemaker and Olivia DePaulis! You two are awesome and damn fine. Thank you for being my characters. And last but certainly not least, Miss Jennifer Streif, for creating this cover. Thank you for the time and love you put into making me my dream cover for Sabrina's story. And thank you for caring about the story itself, too.

Coming December 30, 2013...

Suddenly named the acting president of her uncle’s record label, former pop princess Sabrina Walker is finally ready to grow up. While her professional life moves forward, she still clings to the last fragment of her past life in the form of an uncertain relationship with her manager, Beau.

When Sabrina hires handsome, young assistant, Wade Lawson, he awakens in her the hidden confidence she’s always desired. What starts as a casual affair quickly intensifies to something much more.

Sabrina must decide—return to the familiar life of an insecure one-hit-wonder, or embrace Wade and the woman his passion has helped reveal.

Here's your chance to win an ADVANCED copy of the book before it comes out in December!
a Rafflecopter giveaway

Psst....

Do you see that little tag line under the title? A Confession Records novel? That's there because this is the first of at least three stand-alone novels in a collection! Two other novels are planned in the Confession Records Collection, a sort of universe-sharing series. I don't have timelines on either Sway or Changing Keys right now but I can tell you that they are in production and the Confession Records Collection has the potential to grow even bigger. I cannot wait to share Sabrina, Wade and Beau with you!

Thank you so much to all of the 40-some AMAZING blogger and Facebook Pages that took the time to share my cover today! I love this indie community so much. You guys rule!

NA Author: J.L. Fynn!

Smooth talking. Ambitious. Loyal.
Twenty-year-old Shay Reilly has proven himself to his Irish-American Gypsy clan on small-scale cons, but now the clan leader has a bigger mission for him: playing the long game.
To rake in the big score he’s after, he needs to con co-ed Spencer into falling in love with him. He knows he should see her as a mere means to an end, but that’s easier said than done when there’s a witty, attractive girl in your arms.
Now the only thing that can keep them apart is the thing that brought the together: Shay’s plans of revenge against someone who wronged his clan and family years before—Spencer’s father

J.L. Fynn is the public face of a private identity. She enjoys making up stories about iniquitous heroes, providing Delphic answers to unasked questions, and obfuscating the truth just for laughs. But then, what’s an author but a professional liar? If you send her an email she might let you in on her little secret—assuming she likes your moxie.

Happy Book-aversary, Britni Hill!

From the Rubble is turning 1 today!  To celebrate it will be .99 for the next 3 days!!  Thanks to Kate Roth for celebrating with me!

From the Rubble is a follow up novella to my full length novel Tears in the Rubble.

In the wake of a terrible betrayal, Taylor and Layla bury their feelings for the other, good and bad, just to get by day to day.  Forced together because of their daughter, Taylor struggles to forgive Layla so he falls into the role of fatherhood, naturally striving to be the best father he can be.

Layla’s guilt overwhelms her as she fights herself over her feelings for Taylor.  After all, she doesn’t believe she deserves another chance.  She’s already had too many.

Making a family out of a broken relationship won’t be easy, but with both Taylor and Layla pushing forward, will they ever find a new normal?  Will they ever confront their feelings for one another?

And now an excerpt from the book...

“I wasn’t counting on you wearing those shoes.” Taylor laughed at the look on her face when she looked up at him.
Layla frowned and looked down at her small feet.
“I was just thinking how I’m always wearing the wrong shoes.” She met his gaze, her eyes bright in the streetlight as she shrugged and smiled up at him. Unable to help himself, Taylor pulled them to a stop. Taking a step forward, he crowded Layla knowing he was in her personal space. Still holding her hand, he placed his free hand on her waist and propelled her backwards into the red brick of the building next to them. Layla looked startled for a second but she recovered quickly and a seductive heat lit her hazel eyes. The tip of her pink tongue darted out and ran across her bottom lip leaving a sheen of wetness behind. Taylor dipped his head pushing his hips into her, pinning her to the wall. It dawned on him that for the first time in a long time, he wasn’t having the inner struggle over whether he should kiss her or not. He knew this was right, he knew what they had was real. He was excited but not nervous. His hand landed on the back of her neck, his fingers tangled in her hair and his thumb stroked her jaw just before his lips touched hers. As always the feeling was electric. Using his thumb, he tilted her head more and ran his tongue along her bottom lip. Layla shivered and opened her mouth. Her arms wound around his neck, her nails digging into the skin there as she pulled him closer. Layla’s tongue stroked his own before retreating into her mouth with his following. Taylor could feel the heat of her skin through the thin material of her dress and all he really wanted was to feel that heat against his own flesh. They broke apart, both of them breathing heavily.
“I don’t think I'll ever get tired of doing that,” Layla whispered in his ear.
Pressing his forehead against her shoulder, Taylor pulled back and searched her face.  Taylor watched Layla pull her bottom lip into her mouth and frown.
“Do you really think we can make this work? What I did…”

From the Rubble is available today through Oct 19th for .99 on Amazon.

Dear Emily,
How do I start off a letter to a child I have yet to meet?
A child that has always been in our hearts?
A child that is meant for our family?
Your Daddy and I cannot wait for the moment we are able to hold you in our arms for the first time. To lay our eyes on your perfect face, eyes, toes. To breathe in the essence of a new baby, swirling scents of powder and linen.
We cannot wait to feel your beating heart against our chests and to listen to your slow and steady breaths.
To hear your soft baby noises.
To soothe your crying.
We have always dreamed of you, Emily. We’ve dreamed that someday our family would be blessed with a child.
We are now so close to realizing this dream. Our new family is within reach.
So very close.
We are now hoping, waiting, praying.
Love and kisses,
Momma & Daddy
My eyes are glistening with tears as I scrawl my signature at the bottom of the letter, touch my fingers to my lips, press them onto her name and close my journal. I look over to my left where Kyle is softly snoring, sleeping soundly. I mouth the words “I love you” to him, touch his back lightly, put my journal in my night table drawer and turn out the soft light by my bedside. I curl my body into his, tuck my head into his chest and hold on tight.
I love this man with all that I am and I love the father that he is going to be.
My heart is full of promise and hope.

Cover Reveal: The Girl Before Eve by Lisa J. Hobman

COMING JANUARY 2014
From Lisa J. Hobman

Unrequited love is the biggest heartache…

Lily and Adam have been best friends since the dawn of time.  Well, the dawn of their time.  Okay…since primary school actually.  Everyone accepted them as best friends.  Until one day, aged 18, Lily made a fateful discovery.  She was head over heels in love.

With Adam.

Her unrequited feelings are hard to deal with initially but become even harder when Lily inadvertently introduces him to the love of his life.  It all started as a bit of a joke thanks to the other woman's name.

Eve.

Many years later and Adam is once again single and heartbroken and Lily is there to help him pick up the pieces.  Her methods are sometimes a little unorthodox and lead to ridiculous consequences.

Can Lily help Adam to move on and find happiness again?  And can either of the friends recover from losing the love of their lives?

Sometimes the one thing you want is way out of reach.
