An Open Letter About Reviews

Dear reader, fan or curious party,

I've said it before and I'm saying it again, the best thing you can do for an author if you liked their work and want them to succeed is leave them reviews and spread the word.

As of today 20 people (some friends and family and some strangers) have given me a five-star review on Amazon. It feels so wonderful knowing that people are enjoying my book and care enough to take them time to tell not only me, but all of Amazon that.

Goodreads tells me that nearly 100 people have added my book to their book list. That means either they have read it, are reading it or plan to read it. And 21 of those people have left reviews.

Barnes & Noble only has four reviews right now but I'll take them! I'm happy to see a review because it means someone read my work.

Not all reviews are great and accepting that comes with the job of being an author. You cannot please everyone. But for the most part The Low Notes has stellar reader reviews.

If you have read the book please take a moment to write a review. It doesn't have to be long or in-depth or even give a summary. It doesn't have to say anything really. Just rate it.

Reviews help other people looking for a book judge whether or not they might be interested. It helps show my book to more people which in turn helps more people buy my book which in turn helps my ranking move up. It's important to ANY author, not just me.

I hope it's not too much to ask and I hope you don't think I'm beating a dead horse on this topic but reviews mean a lot to me. Someday I want to see my name under the words 'bestselling author'...and reviews are a step in that direction.

Check out the tab for The Low Notes to find all of my links where the book can be purchased and reviewed and check out the contact page for my Goodreads link.

Thank you!!
